I consider myself patient, caring, and understanding, always striving for excellence in everything I do. My teaching style involves posing questions to help students develop and shape their own thinking. This approach is effective for several reasons: firstly, it avoids simply giving away answers, allowing students to engage actively in their learning. Secondly, it aids in the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Thirdly, it enables students to understand concepts more holistically and logically, leading to a deeper and more effective mastery. My teaching philosophy is centred around 'guided thinking'. Witnessing the 'eureka' moment when a student grasps a concept, and the subsequent ease with which they tackle questions, is incredibly rewarding for both the student and myself.
